In the dynamic fitness industry, low-impact workouts continue to be a bar above the rest. In a 2023 Mindbody wellness survey it was reported that more than 1 out of 3 Americans prefer low-impact workouts exclusively. This increased demand for low-impact workouts is complimented with a rise of holistic wellness and the emphasis on longevity – garnering the attention of all generations.

Rooted in elements of ballet, Pilates, and yoga, The Bar Method’s low-impact workout elevates precise isometric movements that effectively sculpt and build muscle endurance. With barre being a versatile workout for all fitness enthusiasts, the 2023 ClassPass report shows that over the last 5 years barre has been within the top five workouts booked in their booking platform. Our studios welcome all wellness seekers from fitness beginners to fitness enthusiasts – delivering results that members crave.

Leading the Low Impact Workout Category

Not all low-impact workouts are created the same – with members at the front of mind, The Bar Method develops each movement with intentionality and precision. Refining our transformative workout is done in partnership with our on-staff Physical Therapist to maintain our roots in kinesiology and anatomy. In addition, we have an experienced Technique Team to collaborate in the development of each new exercise. This careful attention to detail keeps our workout highly effective, joint-friendly, and low impact.

The effectiveness of our workout combined with the accessibility of our workout attracts all types of fitness enthusiasts. Our instructors curate a studio community of inclusivity regardless of physical activity prior to entering the studio. Instructors undergo intensive training and continuing education to skillfully provide exercise options to fit the needs of each member – maximizing the benefits of our method.

Growing with Industry Experts

Poised for growth, we see Gen Z and Millennials - dubbed “Gen Active” - investing in their passion for health and fitness, especially low impact workouts. Certainly, we still have our loyalist Baby Boomers, but The Bar Method fulfills the younger generations’ need for a workout that strengthens their mind and body without the risk of injury. In addition, with fitness being an important part of their life we see that they are compelled to spend premium prices for studio membership.

With 20+ years of boutique fitness experience, we bring a strong foundation of empowerment to help our franchise owners pursue their entrepreneurial endeavors and provide an elevated workout to meet fitness enthusiasts wherever they are on their journey.
